About

Place of Changing Winds is one of Australia's most quietly cult producers — extreme high-density vine plantings (down to 12,500 vines/hectare, the densest in Australia), Burgundian-style winemaking, very small production. The 'Syrah n2' is the more accessible cuvée — cool-climate Macedon Syrah with whole-bunch lift, pepper, fine tannin, real elegance. Cooler-climate Australian Syrah at its best.

Producer note

Place of Changing Winds is named after the founders' Macedon vineyard — their high-density plantings are inspired by traditional French viticulture and rarely seen in Australia.
