About
Burn Cottage is one of New Zealand's most respected biodynamic estates, founded in Central Otago by US wine importer Marquis Sauvage with consultation from Ted Lemon (of Littorai fame). The 'Sauvage Vineyard' is the home block — single-vineyard fruit, full whole-bunch ferment, restrained oak. Concentrated, structured, layered — Central Otago Pinot at its most serious. For occasions, for cellaring, for converting Burgundy drinkers.

Burn Cottage was founded in 2002 with biodynamic farming from day one. Ted Lemon (Littorai, California) has consulted on winemaking from the start.
