Bogle made this 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon in California and aged it for twelve months in one-year-old American oak. The winery holds California Rules Certified Sustainable Winegrowing certification. That oak regimen sits behind the ripe Californian fruit rather than taking over the wine.
The bottle suits the fuller, fruit-led style of Cabernet. Expect vanilla and spice around the dark-fruit core, with enough tannin to bring it back to the table. It is a natural match for grilled steak, burgers, or slow-cooked beef. Give it a short rest after opening if serving with a serious meal.
